About Nanga Parbat
The ninth highest mountain. Known as the Killer Mountain after 31 climbers died before the first ascent. Its Rupal Face is the highest mountain wall in the world at 4,600 m. Hermann Buhl made the first ascent solo and without supplemental oxygen, one of the greatest feats in mountaineering history. It was the site of a 2013 Taliban attack that killed 10 foreign climbers.
