The highest mountain on Earth. Over 300 climbers have died attempting it, with over 200 bodies remaining on the mountain. The death zone above 8,000 m has so little oxygen that the body literally starts dying. It grows 4 mm per year due to tectonic forces. Temperatures at the summit can reach -60 C. Winds exceed 280 km/h. It takes about 2 months to climb including acclimatization. Over 6,000 people have summited. The busiest day saw 354 climbers on the summit ridge.
