The fourth highest mountain. Its name means South Peak as it is connected to Everest. The Lhotse Face is one of the most dramatic walls in the Himalayas at 1,125 m of near-vertical ice and rock. Most Everest climbers pass Lhotse on their way to the summit. The Lhotse couloir is considered extremely dangerous.
