About Dhaulagiri
The seventh highest mountain. Its name means White Mountain. It stands alone, making it one of the most dramatic peaks in the Himalayas. The south face is one of the largest mountain walls in the world at 4,000 m. It was the site of one of the worst mountaineering disasters when an avalanche killed 16 in 1999.
