About Mount Kenya
The second highest mountain in Africa. Its glacial valleys are slowly disappearing due to climate change. Lewis Glacier has lost 90% of its volume since 1930. The peaks Batian, Nelion, and Lenana are named after Maasai leaders. Technical rock climbing is required for the highest peaks. The mountain is an extinct volcano.
