About Puncak Jaya detail

The Carstensz Pyramid route involves rock climbing on a limestone ridge. The mine road access has been closed, making helicopters the only reliable approach. The jungle approach takes 5-7 days through dense rainforest. One of the most logistically challenging of the Seven Summits.
