About Taihang Mountains (Guoliang)
Famous for the Guoliang Tunnel, carved through solid rock by 13 villagers over 5 years. The tunnel is 1.2 km long, 4 m wide, and 5 m high, with 30 windows looking out over the cliff face. It opened in 1977. One of the most dramatic roads in the world.
