About Vinson Massif

The highest mountain in Antarctica. One of the Seven Summits. It is extremely remote - flights from Chile take 6 hours to reach the base camp. Temperatures regularly reach -40 C. Only about 200 people have summited. The climb is not technically difficult but the logistics are extreme.
