About Mount Stanley
The highest mountain in both Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Rwenzori Mountains are called the Mountains of the Moon by ancient Greek geographers. Its glaciers are rapidly disappearing. The mountain is home to unique alpine vegetation including giant lobelias. Located in a remote border region.
