About Fitz Roy
One of the most technically demanding mountains in the world. Its summit spire is visible from miles away. The Patagonian weather is notoriously brutal with storms lasting weeks. First summited by French climbers Lionel Terray and Guido Magnone. The town of El Chalten at its base is the trekking capital of Argentina. Featured on the Patagonia clothing logo.
